FAQs: Frequently Asked Questions

  • What Level of CPR do I need?

    Great question. Short answer: we ALWAYS recommend CPR BLS. There is NO EXTRA COST, minimal extra time, and it is the best of the 3 options (BLS, C, or A).

  • How long do I have to complete the ONLINE training module?

    Almost as long as you need! The course invitation expires after one year.

  • How long does it take to complete the In-Class portion?

    The in-class portion of our blended learning course is approximately 6.5 hours. This session is completed in 1 day.

  • Can I take the In-Class session first, and then complete the Online session afterwards?

    No, the blended option requires you to complete the online portion FIRST, and the in-class portion SECOND.

  • What is Blended Learning?

    Blended Learning integrates online courses with in-person instruction. You complete online modules remotely, then book and complete an in-class session.
    In-class instruction is included in your course cost, so there is no extra fee to book when you're ready. *Please see our cancellation policies for in-class bookings*

  • Is AED Training included?

    Yes. AED training and certification is included, and comes with ANY CPR course level you choose.

  • After I've received my online-learning certification, how do I book the In-Class session?

    AFTER you have received your certification of completion for the Online Training module, contact us to book your in-class learning module. You can do this by way of email or phone. See our contact page to get in touch.

  • What is the Course Curriculum?

    The course curriculum is the exact same as our In-Class Standard First Aid and CPR training program HERE. The only difference is that the theoretical portion is completed online, and the skills portion is completed in-class under the guidance of an instructor.

  • Is this course WSIB approved?

    Yes, this course is fully recognized by Ontario WSIB (Workplace Safety & Insurance Board) and fulfills the requirements of regulation 1101.

    Note that THERE IS NO EXTRA COST to choose BLS, which is the highest qualification of the three, and the extra time required to attain it is very minimal.

    This is why we always recommend that you choose CPR BLS.

    If you get stuck on any questions, either skip ahead or contact us directly - we respond quickly and are always happy to help.

    When you complete the Online Course, you’ll receive a certification, and can then contact us to book your IN-CLASS portion.

  • After you complete and pass the Online Course, you may then select an In-Class Training Date that works best with your schedule.

    Don’t worry, we run the one day session multiple times per week and per month, we’ll always have courses available to meet your needs.

  • Our Instructors make the in-class session fun, engaging, and practical.

    We pride ourselves on offering the most fun CPR & First Aid courses around!

    The In-Class session builds upon the knowledge gained from the online course, so the training can be highly skills-focused and used for deep dive Q&A on any individual topics that students see fit to explore.

  • After passing the In-Class training session, your instructor will submit your name into the registry.

    Shortly afterwards, usually within a few business days, you’ll receive your certification via email (hard copies are also available upon request).
