WE ARE AN ESSENTIAL SERVICE!
Our brand new training facility is open!
First Aid and CPR Training is currently listed as an essential service in Ontario.
We are running public courses each weekend, and private courses during the week.
COVID-19 PLAN & STATEMENT
REGISTER IN ADVANCE
You can register your spot in a public course, purchase a new blended online + in-class training option, or contact us for a private course.
PHYSICAL DISTANCING
We have reduced our class capacity, so space is limited. Our classroom can comfortably and safely fit 10 people for a full course setting. Workstations are positioned using appropriate distancing guidelines. Students must maintain physical distance throughout the course. Instructors will be directing the flow of traffic from the entranceway and lobby to the classroom.
MANDATORY MASKS
All Barrie First Aid & CPR Instructors will be wearing face masks at all times. All students are required to wear face masks throughout the course. For the safety of everyone, masks are mandatory.
HEALTH & SAFETY PROTOCOLS
All COVID-19 guidelines and health & safety authority protocols are followed before, during, and after the course to ensure your safety.
HAND-WASHING & SANITIZATION
All participants and instructors must wash & sanitize their hands throughout the course. Hand sanitizer is available upon entering and inside the classroom. Instructors will regularly disinfect shared surfaces, desks, chairs, workstations, and other equipment and supplies. In addition, instructors will wear gloves throughout the course.
SELF CARE & SELF REPORTING
If you do not feel well, or if you have any sign of illness, we ask that you stay at home and contact us during business hours to advise us of your condition & situation. We will do our best to accommodate reschedule requests but may not always be able to guarantee a spot in an upcoming course.
REGARDING COVID VACCINATIONS
As First Aid and CPR Training is considered “essential,” it is NOT required for participants to be vaccinated for COVID-19.
Physical distancing, masks, etc. still apply as per public health guidelines (see our full COVID Plan here).
